Dafram HIPPS Ball Valves
HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection System) is an independently instrumented system that prevents plant lines from loss of containment due to over-pressure situations. DAFRAM valves for HIPPS applications are specifically designed in order to meet very strict requirements given by International Standards and service conditions.
Special attention is dedicated to valve drive train design and seat materials selection because of the considerable speed of shut down operation. HIPPS equipped with DAFRAM valves prove to be very reliable and are classified up to SIL 4.
